Are you ready to jump right in and practice your stripping? Join a bunch of us who are committed to decluttering our lives one thing at a time. Here is weekly challenge #1...
Take a plastic grocery bag and fill it with 10 articles of clothing from the closets in your house and then get rid of it TODAY! Either pass it along to someone who you know would benefit from the clothes, or stop by your local thrift store.
*Super Stripper Option - Fill a plastic grocery bag with 10 articles of clothing from EACH closet in your house.
If you look around on the internet you will find all kinds of projects and blogs all about decluttering - some of them use teeny tiny little baby steps and others are really ambitious. My challenges will be kind of middle of the road, but I will always try and include a Super Stripper option for all you keeners.
The links below are a few examples of other decluttering challenges that are happening around the internet.
If you choose to participate in the Stripper challenges, please leave a comment here or on facebook and let us all know how it's going. Happy Stripping!
[If you are new to the blog and would like to keep up to date with postings, please either "like" the page on facebook, or subscribe to the blog by email. You can do either, or both on the side of this page. Thanks for reading and Happy Stripping!]
okay, so I'm just using a regular paper shopping tote to start, but hey, it's something! Thanks for the inspiration, I need it!
ReplyDeleteRegular paper shopping tote is perfect! I picked a plastic grocery bag because out here our thrift store recycles them and I'm always one to try and get one more plastic bag off the streets!
DeleteLet me know how you do with the FILLING of your bag :)
Happy stripping....
